I have always made a commitment to myself to go above and beyond the expectations of those around me, and teaching is no exception. I make it my personal goal to turn my students into extremely competent individuals, not just in the academic arena but in all areas of their lives that can make use of the skills I provide them with. If a certain teaching method is not working, I quickly formulate new plans and strategies to help me reach the student, and I vow never to give up on any student! I am a graduate of the University of North Florida, where I double-majored in Transportation and Logistics and Business Administration. I have also obtained several teaching certifications in a wide variety of areas. In terms of teaching experience, I have spent several years teaching middle school students the concepts of Language Arts, Reading, and Math. I have also spent several years tutoring both privately and online. My specialties include Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and helping students prepare for standardized tests like the ISEE and SSAT.
